This is the original concept map for Camp Nemo and is circa 1950.
There have been many changes in the camp since then and some have fit with the original concept and some haven’t. There was to be a swimming pool where we currently have the traverse wall and group camping down in the valley where Hencher Den is but there are now forests where the reforestation was to occur and we have wilderness camping where it was designated to be.
The important thing wasn’t that the plan was followed but that there was a vision and a sense of direction for the camp.
